Manage Subscription

Requires owner or admin. member and viewer users can review billing state, but they cannot open Stripe management actions.

Use this guide when the org already has an active subscription and you need to make ongoing billing changes through Stripe Customer Portal.

  1. Make the billing change in Stripe.
  2. Return to the dashboard using Stripe's return link.
  3. Re-check the Billing tab after you come back.

What Stripe Portal Handles

  • Payment method updates
  • Invoice and billing history access
  • Cancellation and other recurring-billing actions that your portal configuration allows

If You Get Stuck

  • If Manage subscription is missing, confirm that your role includes manage_billing.
  • If the portal says there is no subscription or customer, start a subscription first.
  • If a portal option you expect is not available, the Stripe Portal configuration may not enable it.

Next Step

Return to Billing or check the Team Management roles guide if you need to confirm who can manage billing.
