Billing

Use this section to review the current billing state for an organization and hand billing changes off to Stripe when needed. The dashboard billing tab shows whether the org is active or inactive, and it only exposes the action that matches the current role.

1. Read Start Subscription if the org is inactive and you need to launch Stripe Checkout.
2. Read Manage Subscription if the org already has an active subscription and you need Stripe Customer Portal.
3. If you do not see the billing controls you expect, check the Team Management roles guide before trying to act again.

owner and admin can manage billing. member and viewer can review billing state but should not follow the owner/admin-only steps in this section.
